The concept of the Rising Stars programs began as a dream at the Eastern Invitational Basketball Clinic between 1980 - 1990. During that time and through today our goals have remained the same. We strive to continue to develop a better program that reaches out to all children. In 1990 coach Savramis, the founder of the Eastern Invitational Camp sold his interest in the summer camps to concentrate on developing a year round program of clinics, and positive alternatives for children - The Rising Stars Youth Foundation. 
 
The following pictures on these Hall of Fame pages will help to express our sincere thanks to all of the high school and college players, coaches, and dedicated professionals who over a decade have helped to develop today's Rising Stars programs.

We are proud of the work that all of these great players and many others like them have put into the development of the future success of the young men and women who attended our camps in the past. We owe a debt of gratitude for all of their past efforts and continue to recognize those efforts with this Hall of Fame testimonial.

The unselfish contributions of these outstanding professionals remain as a driving force behind the Rising Stars programs of today.
