Rising Stars' educational philosophy is that many of the essential rules and lessons we need to learn in life can be taught and learned at an early age.

Rising Stars utilizes basketball clinics, camps and teams to enroll grade school children in yearly programs that they enjoy, benefit from, and want to stay with throughout HS.

These programs serve as an educational platform that teaches the lessons and values in life they need to make correct decisions in the formative years.

Every Rising Stars event carries a positive message and each basketball skill taught at a clinic or camp is taught in a way that is relevant to a skill in life.

Our coaching staff consists of certified teachers and administrators that put an emphasis on a child’s welfare and proper development.

Staff serves as teacher, mentor, guidance counselor, confidante, and advisor.

Opportunities of personal discovery and decision making are all a part of the Rising Stars team experience.

These opportunities are further enhanced by every Rising Stars team member doing community service and giving to help others.

A Rising Star member becomes more confidant, believes in, and feels good about themselves.

Learning teamwork, fairplay and simply a sense of right and wrong are byproducts of having a great time. Being a part of a program that you enjoy is conducive to wanting to stay involved and the best student is one that wants to be there and wants to learn.

Rising Stars accepts that teaching and learning is a diverse and lifelong process.

We believe each child is a unique individual that needs a secure caring and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

We want our student/athletes to have an environment that is safe, supports independent thought and encourages problem solving.

Rising Stars coaches will guide and motivate our student athletes to learn from parents, teachers, community, and especially themselves.

Our student athletes will learn to respect, accept and embrace the differences between us and develop the tools they will need to become successful both on the court, and in life.
